Gregory Rodrigues Beats Anthony Hernandez

Gregory Rodrigues won a unanimous decision over Anthony Hernandez in the UFC Sacramento main event, extending his win streak to four and setting up a likely jump from his current No. 10 middleweight ranking after beating the No. 7-ranked Hernandez.

Rodrigues edged a competitive fight by mixing low kicks, body shots and uppercuts that repeatedly rocked Hernandez, who was unable to build the kind of separation needed to shift the scorecards. Hernandez, who lost to now-champion Sean Strickland in February, remains winless in two fights in 2026.

Afterward, Rodrigues called for a fight with former champion and No. 2-ranked contender Dricus du Plessis, who is fresh off a July win over Kamaru Usman and eyeing his own path back to Strickland's title.
