Grasso Ready For Title Shot After Noche UFC Win

Alexa Grasso believes she has earned another shot at the UFC flyweight title after beating Manon Fiorot at Noche UFC.

The former champion defeated Fiorot at the Desert Diamond Arena in Glendale, building on her knockout of Maycee Barber earlier this year. Grasso, who previously held the belt, told reporters she is tracking the title picture closely while staying in camp.

Grasso On Title Readiness After Fiorot Win

"I'll be watching, of course," Grasso said at the post-fight scrum, per MMA Junkie and BJ Penn. "It's an important fight in my weight class, but I always keep training. I trust in my work, and when the time comes, I'll be ready."

Grasso credited her team for the game plan that carried her past Fiorot. "I prepared very well," she said. "I trusted in my team. Everything we did, the strategy, it worked. When everything is perfect, you feel just super confident in there."

The Mexican fighter also praised the atmosphere at Noche UFC. "I love the crowd and how they give energy, and I value every person who comes here and supports us because it means a lot," she said.

Grasso's path back to the belt likely depends on the outcome of the next title fight in the division.
