Frank Martin Calls For Stevenson Or Davis Rematch

Frank Martin is targeting Shakur Stevenson, Gervonta Davis or Isaac “Pitbull” Cruz.

The 31-year-old lightweight/" class="internal-link text-bone underline decoration-ash/30 hover:decoration-gold underline-offset-2">light welterweight contender was most direct about Davis: “Man, I love that rematch.” He also said facing Cruz or Lamont Roach could build momentum toward a second Davis fight.

Martin has fought only twice since the 2024 Davis bout. His lone win since 2023 came by decision over Rances Barthelemy, followed by a ten-round draw with Nahir Albright earlier this year, a result many thought he lost.

Martin faces Tarik Zaina on October 24 in a rebuilding fight. Winning is essential, and so is staying active afterward: “We ain’t chasing nobody. I just want to put on a dominant performance,” Martin.
