Movsar Evloev has no interest in critics who complain about his lack of finishes inside the UFC octagon.
The undefeated featherweight contender meets Alexander Volkanovski for the 145-pound title at UFC 333, where he expects to control the fight even if he doesn't stop the man widely considered the division's greatest champion. "Even if I'm not able to finish him, I will control all the time, and it's not going to be a boring fight," Evloev told MMA Junkie. "People used to say no finish means boring, but I've got a lot of fans who love my fights because of wrestling, because of some weird situations."

Evloev's UFC Title Fight Strategy
The Dagestani wrestler, who has yet to secure a stoppage victory in the UFC, says his submission defence remains sharp while his striking continues to improve. He drew a clear line between his approach and fighters who rely on slug-fests. "I'm not here to make them happy," Evloev said of fans who prefer knockouts. "I'm here to be a champion, to be the best in the world, and to make my family happy by my win — not just to show them a good fight, bleeding, hurting people, and maybe win, maybe lose."
Per BJ Penn dot com, Evloev believes takedowns and grappling exchanges appeal to fans who understand mixed martial arts beyond stand-up brawls. He insists his wrestling-heavy style creates compelling moments even when fights go the distance.
