Eubank Jr. Eyeing Comeback

Boxing News Staff
Boxing Editorial Team ·

Chris Eubank Jr. is planning a return to the ring despite calls to retire following his rematch loss to Conor Benn, with his manager confirming an "80% chance" the comeback comes against either Kell Brook or Billy Joe Saunders.

"80% chance [that it is against either Kell Brook or Billy Joe Saunders]. It is very warm, that list is very warm," Elliot Amoakoh

Eubank beat Benn in April 2025 but was dropped twice in the final round of their rematch, a one-sided fight that squared the series between the two rivals. Whether age, the weight cut, or Benn himself was to blame remains unclear, and Eubank appears intent on finding out rather than walking away.

Brook, who hasn't fought since retiring in February 2022, recently hinted he could be the opponent for a proposed December date. Saunders, meanwhile, beat Eubank back in 2014 to defend his British and European middleweight titles, but hasn't fought since losing his WBO super middleweight title to Canelo Alvarez in May 2021.
