Erosa Retires With $100K Knockout Bonus At UFC Halloween

Julian Erosa walked away from the UFC with a six-figure payday in his final fight. The featherweight veteran announced his retirement after scoring a first-round comeback knockout against JeongYeong Lee at UFC Vegas 123 on Saturday night at Meta APEX in Las Vegas, according to MMA Mania.

Erosa's finish earned him one of four $100,000 Performance of the Night bonuses handed out on the Halloween card. Tom Nolan, who stopped Renato Moicano in the lightweight main event, also collected a six-figure check alongside Joe Kropschot and UFC debutant Lucia Szabova. Kropschot submitted his opponent with an inverted triangle armbar in the second round, while Szabova, a former Oktagon MMA double champion, landed a violent TKO in her first Octagon appearance.

Four Fighters Collect Top Bonuses

Beyond the $100,000 awards, two more fighters pocketed $25,000 finishes. Welterweight prospect Jean-Paul Lebosnoyani forced a doctor's stoppage against Farman Hasanov after a sustained beating, and Rodrigo Sezinando also secured a doctor's stoppage TKO over Theodor Berggren in an improved second UFC outing. In the co-main event, Jacobe Smith kept his undefeated record intact with a decision win over Randy Brown.

Erosa's retirement closes the book on a UFC run that spanned multiple years and featured several back-and-forth wars in the featherweight division. The bonus marked a fitting send-off for a fighter known for entertaining scraps. UFC Vegas 124 takes place next Saturday at the APEX.
