Joselyne Edwards will weigh in as the backup fighter for the bantamweight championship bout between Kayla Harrison and Amanda Nunes at UFC 334, multiple sources confirmed to MMA Fighting.
The Nov. 12 card at Madison Square Garden features Harrison challenging Nunes in the co-main event, a fight originally scheduled for January before Harrison required neck surgery. Nunes, the former two-division champion who came out of retirement for this matchup, elected to wait nearly a year rather than face a different opponent for an interim belt.

Edwards Earns Standby Role After Five-Fight Streak
Edwards locked down the emergency spot after stringing together five consecutive UFC wins dating back to late 2024. The bantamweight contender finished four opponents during that stretch, stopping two in the opening round, before taking a decision over Norma Dumont in her most recent appearance.
UFC 334 is headlined by Ciryl Gane defending the heavyweight title against Josh Hokit. The numbered card streams on Paramount+ from New York.
