Dubois Vs. Parker Predictions – ‘He Might Knock Him Out'

Daniel Dubois defends his IBF Heavyweight Title against Joseph Parker on February 22, as boxing insiders gave their predictions. 

Dubois defended his title for the first time by stopping Anthony Joshua in his last fight. He produced a career-best performance, dropping AJ numerous times. It was the third win on the spin after his loss to Oleksandr Usyk. The AJ rematch never happened, as Parker got his shot. Parker is also in impressive form. He has secured two of his best wins, beating Deontay Wilder and Zhilei Zhang, respectively. The winner puts themselves in a position to fight Usyk for the Undisputed Heavyweight Title, with everything on the line. Here is how boxing insiders saw the fight playing out. 

Dubois Vs. Parker

"Good fight man. Joseph Parker has surprised me every time he has fought. He comes back and puts on a great performance and is back in the mix again. Whereas Dubois with that fight he fought against Joshua and even when he fought Hrgovic, that’s the first time I saw him fight and I thought this guy’s a hard guy to beat. He’s a very good boxer, so if I was to pick a fighter to win that fight, it would be Dubois. He’s the younger and fresher fighter," Amir Khan

"I think Parker wins. Yeah, I think Parker. Parker’s all wrong for him, but Dubois is improving all the time. So, you know, I wouldn’t be surprised with the Dubois win either. But the longer I’m involved in boxing, the less I’m surprised by any result because you just don’t know what happens in this game. Mad things happen," Dave Allen
