Rafael dos Anjos will return to the octagon after a two-year absence, meeting Alexander Hernandez at UFC 332 on Oct. 3 at Delta Center in Salt Lake City.
The 41-year-old former lightweight champion has not fought since suffering a knee injury against Geoff Neal in 2024, enduring multiple surgeries and setbacks during his recovery. ESPN first reported the booking. Hernandez moves up to welterweight for the first time after competing as low as featherweight in April 2024.

Dos Anjos Faces Hernandez After Surgeries
The matchup pits dos Anjos, one of the sport's most relentless pressure fighters, against Hernandez, who has rebuilt his career as a counter striker. Hernandez, 33, has won four of his last five and stayed active while dos Anjos rehabbed.
Dos Anjos carries a three-fight losing streak into the bout, though he performed well during that run before the injury. The former champion has alternated between lightweight and welterweight in recent years, while Hernandez makes his 170-pound debut after campaigning at featherweight and lightweight.
