White Confirms Page's UFC Exit After Paris Win

Michael 'Venom' Page's UFC run is over. Dana White confirmed Tuesday night that the promotion will not re-sign the British welterweight following his win at UFC Paris last Saturday.

Page beat Nursulton Ruziboev via unanimous decision in the featured bout, completing the final fight on his contract. MMA Fighting first reported that Page had been removed from the UFC media rankings Monday, and White addressed the news after the latest Contender Series episode. "That was his last fight on his contract," White said. "I don't think we're signing him, no."

Page's Inconsistent UFC Tenure Ends at 5-1

The former Bellator interim title challenger joined the UFC in 2024 and posted a 5-1 record, but the 39-year-old never seemed to mesh with the promotion. He bounced between weight classes and turned in several performances that failed to impress — including his latest outing, which Page himself acknowledged fell short of expectations.

White dismissed any uncertainty about the decision. "What's the confusion? I think it's been pretty clear that he wasn't being re-signed, and that he would be taken out of the rankings, because he's no longer on the roster," he told reporters.
