Christian Natividad needed just over a minute to earn a UFC contract on Dana White's Contender Series.
Natividad stopped Colton Loud with a liver shot in 70 seconds during Week 5 of DWCS on Tuesday night, per Sherdog. The undefeated 29-year-old flyweight took the bout on eight days' notice after Loud's original opponent withdrew due to visa problems.

Brother Kevin Paved The Way For UFC Shot
The finish came after both fighters traded body kicks. Natividad absorbed a heavy kick before landing his own shot to the liver that dropped Loud. The referee waved off the contest with minimal follow-up needed.
Natividad becomes the second member of his family to reach the UFC, following older brother Kevin Natividad into the promotion. Kevin signed with the organization in 2020 as a prospect but was released two years later after dropping all three Octagon appearances.

"I'm pretty sure my brother loves just me being here as well," Natividad said after the win. "For him being able to pave the path for me, I'm super blessed. I'm blessed to have a best friend, a training partner, a coach, all in one."
Kevin returned to regional competition in 2024, suffering one loss before notching a victory this past May. Christian now carries a 10-0 record into his UFC debut.
