Dana White has five scenarios for Conor McGregor if he wins at UFC 329

UFC president Dana White has mapped out multiple paths for Conor McGregor's return depending on how Saturday night goes.

White told The Mac Life that he has "five scenarios" in mind if McGregor beats Max Holloway at UFC 329, per MMA Mania. The promotion chief said he also has three plans for Holloway should the Hawaiian win the rematch, calling the fight "huge for both of them" at this stage of their careers.

The UFC paired McGregor with Holloway despite a five-year absence from competition, a choice White defended by saying neither fighter wanted an easy return. "You won't see tune up fights in boxing anymore either," White said, referencing TKO's Zuffa Boxing venture. "This is not a tune up fight. It's not what we do. And it's not something Conor would wanna do either. When you're at the level that both of these guys are, you know, you wanna fight the best."

White praised McGregor as a business partner, saying his only complaint was punctuality. "Conor is a great business partner," he said. "If you told me, 'Say something bad about Conor.' The only thing that I could say is he doesn't show up on time. And today, he was early."

The UFC chief compared McGregor's press conference presence to Muhammad Ali, calling them the two most entertaining fighters at the podium in combat sports history. White said anything was possible for the winner Saturday, adding that unpredictability keeps the sport compelling.

UFC 329 takes place Saturday night in Las Vegas.
