Dana White To Auction Two Ram Trucks For Charity
UFC President Dana White will appear at the Barrett-Jackson Las Vegas Auction on Sept. 11 to help sell two custom Ram trucks for charity, with the entire hammer price benefiting the Folds of Honor Foundation and UFC Foundation.
The pair of trucks — a one-of-one 2027 Ram 1500 Rumble Bee SRT and a restored 2005 Ram 1500 SRT-10 — will cross the block together at approximately 3:30 p.m. PDT in the West Hall of the Las Vegas Convention Center, per UFC.com. Barrett-Jackson is waiving all fees and commissions so that 100 percent of the sale price goes to educational scholarships for families of fallen or disabled military members and first responders. A portion will also support Hispanic charities through the UFC Foundation during Mexican Independence Day weekend.
White On Auction Block With Barrett-Jackson CEO
White will share the stage with Barrett-Jackson Chairman and CEO Craig Jackson to drive bids. The winning bidder also receives a VIP UFC Experience to a future event of their choice. "Having Dana White bring his unmatched energy to our Las Vegas auction block on Sept. 11 ensures we will maximize the support for the true heroes and families honored by these incredible charitable organizations," Jackson said in the announcement.
The 2027 Rumble Bee SRT is the first retail-production model built and will feature a Direct Connection 3.0-liter supercharger upgrade capable of more than 900 horsepower, a hand-painted Molten Red and Diamond Black two-tone scheme, and a custom console badge authenticating the build. The 2005 SRT-10, customized by RealTruck and ProMotorsports, is powered by the 8.3-liter V10 engine from the Dodge Viper and still holds the Guinness World Record as the world's fastest production pickup truck.
The sale falls on the 25th anniversary of the Sept. 11 attacks and coincides with UFC and Zuffa Boxing events in Las Vegas and Glendale, Ariz., on Sept. 12.
