Conor McGregor weighed 170.5 pounds at UFC 329, up 14 from last fight
Conor McGregor stepped on the scale Friday morning at 170.5 pounds for his UFC 329 return, marking his first weigh-in in five years and a 14-pound jump from his last appearance at UFC 264.
MMA Mania reports McGregor weighed 156 pounds when he faced Dustin Poirier in their trilogy fight in 2021. The former two-division champion, now approaching his 38th birthday, showed minimal physical changes in side-by-side photos from both weigh-ins, though he appeared more defined at the lighter weight class.
McGregor targets Holloway elimination at welterweight
McGregor faces Max Holloway in Saturday's main event at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, a rematch of their 2013 featherweight bout that McGregor won by decision when both fighters competed at 145 pounds. Holloway weighed 170 pounds even at Friday's official weigh-ins, per MMA Mania's live results coverage.
"I'm going to destroy Max," McGregor said at the UFC 329 press conference. "I'm going to eliminate Max. My final opponent, still in the UFC ranks. All of my other opponents are gone. And on Saturday night, he gets eliminated for good. I forecast Holloway's retirement on Saturday night."
McGregor enters the welterweight contest on a two-fight skid and has not competed since suffering a broken leg against Poirier. The UFC 329 card streams on Paramount Plus with ceremonial weigh-ins scheduled for 9 p.m. ET Friday.
