Cejudo Weighs In At 147 For Misfits Boxing Debut

Henry Cejudo scaled 147 pounds Friday for his Misfits Boxing debut against Javon Walton, who came in half a pound lighter, at the official weigh-ins in Miami.

The former UFC flyweight and bantamweight champion headlines Saturday's DAZN-streamed event at James L. Knight Center opposite Walton, as MMA Mania reported. Cejudo, an Olympic gold medalist who retired from the UFC in 2020 before returning for two failed title shots, now pivots to celebrity boxing.

Tony Ferguson, another UFC veteran on the card, weighed 162.5 pounds for his 168-pound bout against Mahmoud Sebie, who tipped the scales at 166.5. Ferguson has lost eight straight in mixed martial arts and recently told reporters he was exploring boxing opportunities.

The main card also features Fox Townley against Justin Ibarrola at 135 pounds, with both fighters hitting the contracted weight exactly. Bobby Smith missed the heavyweight mark by two pounds at 267, while his opponent Edris Enofe came in at 209.5 for their scheduled heavyweight contest.

First bell for the Misfits event is set for 8 p.m. ET Saturday on DAZN.
