Dumont Throws Condoms At Perez During UFC Vegas 121 Weigh-In

Norma Dumont escalated her feud with Ailin Perez at Friday's UFC Vegas 121 weigh-in faceoff, throwing condoms and cash at the Argentine fighter after both made weight for their bantamweight co-main event.

MMA Fighting reports that after Perez completed her signature twerk pose during the staredown, Dumont tossed condoms in her direction. "You need this," Dumont said with a grin, per the outlet. As Perez bent down to retrieve the items, Dumont followed with a handful of bills. "You pay whore with money," she added. "Take it, it's yours."

Mental Warfare Ahead Of Saturday's Clash

Both fighters have framed the contest as much a psychological battle as a technical one. Dumont told MMA Fighting earlier this week that Perez lacks shame in her personal conduct, adding that now the bout is signed, she has her "date to beat her" and her "time to do what I need to do, what I want to do without getting arrested." Perez countered by targeting what she sees as her opponent's fragile mindset rather than grappling holes. "Her biggest weakness is her mind, and that's where I'm going to work, I'm going to get inside her head," she said. "I'm already winning the fight, you know?"

Perez added that her camp is predicting a finish. "My team is saying I'm going to knock her out, I want to finish her, I want to put Norma to sleep," she told the outlet.
