Canelo And Crawford Ready For War

The final presser for Canelo Alvarez vs. Terence Crawford took place, with both fighters confident over winning in their September 13 Undisputed middleweight/" class="internal-link text-bone underline decoration-ash/30 hover:decoration-gold underline-offset-2">Super Middleweight Title bout.

Canelo became undisputed at 168 for the second time, having beaten William Scull in May. While Canelo became undisputed, the performance was not the best. That was partly because of Canelo’s failure to cut the ring off, while Scull had no intention of engaging.

Meanwhile, Crawford has the toughest test of his career. He jumps up two weight classes for the chance to become a three-weight undisputed champion. The failure to take any tune-ups at 160 and 168, makes this challenge much more difficult. Bud has also not boxed since August 2024 since his Israil Madrimov win, as at 37, inactivity could be an issue.
