Allen Faces Duncan In UFC Vegas 122 Main Event
Brendan Allen will put his three-fight winning streak on the line against Christian Leroy Duncan in the UFC Vegas 122 main event.
The promotion confirmed Tuesday that the middleweight matchup is set for Oct. 10 at Meta Apex in Las Vegas, according to MMA Fighting. Allen, ranked seventh at 185 pounds, most recently beat Edmen Shahbazyan by unanimous decision in June and topped Reinier de Ridder in the main event of UFC Vancouver earlier this year.
Duncan's Unbeaten Run Sets Up Top-10 Test
Duncan brings a five-fight winning streak into the headliner after a rough 3-2 start to his UFC tenure. The former Cage Warriors middleweight champion has stopped Eryk Anders and Marco Tulio while earning decision wins over veterans Jared Cannonier and Roman Dolidze during his current run.
Additional bouts for the Oct. 10 card are expected to be announced in the coming weeks.
