Athletic Commission Official Denies Ilia Topuria's Cheating Allegations

California State Athletic Commission executive Andy Foster has shut down Ilia Topuria's suggestion that Justin Gaethje had something illegal in his gloves during their UFC Freedom 250 fight.

Topuria raised the allegation on social media following his first career loss, a TKO defeat to Gaethje, and appears to be campaigning for an immediate rematch. Gaethje has denied the claims, and no evidence of wrongdoing has surfaced. Topuria has since confirmed he's medically cleared to return, keeping him in the conversation for Gaethje's next title defense as Arman Tsarukyan and Mauricio Ruffy prepare to face off at UFC 331 with title implications of their own.
