McGregor Hails Trump For Surviving Assassination Attempt – ‘God Bless Donald’
Conor McGregor has praised ex-US President Donald Trump after he survived an assassination attempt.
Trump was speaking at his Presidential rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, before a huge crowd. But things took a turn for the worse very soon. Trump was removed from the stage following some gunshots. Trump initially put his hand near his right ear before ducking down on the stage. Security Services rushed to Trump’s aid. Trump got up and put his fist in the air as the blood was visible on his face. He was then removed from the stage and taken to a car away from the scene. One person was killed, while another suffered an injury at the rally. The suspected shooter is dead, drawing a huge response. McGregor was full of praise for Trump’s bravery.

Dana White has also reacted to the news. White and Trump have a strong relationship. Dana has supported Trump at the Republican National Convention twice in 2016 and 2020. It is the same for this year, as Dana will speak before Trump makes his nomination speech. Trump has also been seen at numerous UFC events. He recently attended UFC 302 to watch Islam Makhachev defeat Dustin Poirier via a fifth-round submission. White also recalled shutting down a sponsor after they wanted him to remove a video from his social media showing support for Trump.
“I posted a video for Trump on my personal social media. One of our big sponsors called and said, ‘Take that down.’ You know what I said? Go..[away].You vote for whoever you want to vote for, and I’ll vote for whoever I want to vote for. That’s how this works. I don’t even care who you’re voting for. It’s none of my…business…Don’t ever…call me and tell me who to vote for,” White said

Now, White has been left shocked by the incident.
“I’m on a plane right now flying to Italy and my phone has been blowing up with text messages from people informing me @realdonaldtrump was shot. I am absolutely SICK to my stomach and in complete shock. I still don’t know how bad it is or if he’s ok. But @mickmaynard2 just sent me this picture and I’m praying President Trump is 100% healthy.
“This image perfectly reflects EXACTLY the man I know Donald Trump to be. He is the toughest, most resilient, AMERICAN BAD ASS on this planet. I hope the weak coward that shot him gets what he deserves, and I can’t WAIT to stand up on stage with him on Thursday and introduce him at the Republican National Convention and tell the WORLD exactly the character of the friend and man I KNOW,” White stated
The incident will understandably shake up the American nation. But at a time when Joe Biden’s popularity may not be what it used to be, the incident may boost Trump’s profile further as he seeks a second term.
