Gervonta Davis Shows Off His Insane New Physique - 'He's The Best In The World'

Fans have reacted to Gervonta Davis’ new physique, which has gotten fans talking.

Davis will face Frank Martin on June 22 as he defends his WBA Lightweight Title. He has not boxed since stopping Ryan Garcia last April with a seventh-round TKO. Tank was arrested for violating the terms of his house arrest about a hit-and-run incident. This meant he served the remainder of his 44 days under house arrest in jail. Now that he is back in training, fans have seen a noticeable difference.

Davis’ Physique

The following footage shows Davis flexing as he showcases his ripped physique. With over two months left before his fight, Davis is already ahead of schedule and on weight. Yet, that has received a mixed response. Davis looks a lot more learner than he usually is, which may give fans an insight into his game plan for Martin. Martin is a slick boxer known for having a good defense, which may require Davis to move around to cut the ring off.

Martin will be prepared for the bout, given that he has Ryan Garcia as his stablemate. Garcia faced Davis, providing Martin with valuable insights on what to expect. Before Davis stopped Garcia, Ryan had succeeded in the earlier rounds. He landed a big right hand on Davis in the first round, causing Davis to clinch.

That changed in the second round when Garcia was countered with a sharp left hand. But after the loss, Garcia admitted that the fight stipulations had hindred him. He was required to abide by the 136-pound catchweight and ten-pound rehydration clause. Since Garcia wanted the fight at 140, it impacted his condition. But Martin will face Davis at 135, which is his ideal weight. When Garcia was asked about Martin’s chances of winning, he backed the southpaw to come out on top.

Garcia Reacts

Reporter: “You trained alongside him and obviously you and obviously you’ve been in the ring with Gervonta. Who are you taking in that fight, man?”

Garcia: “I’m going to I’m going to go with Frank because I’m going to be there every step of the way and put him on game like this is what he likes to do, this is what he will do bo boom.”

However, one thing that will help Davis and hinder Martin is the circumstances surrounding the fight. It is Davis’ first fight since being released from prison, which gives him plenty to prove. Tank will also headline PBC’s second PPV via Amazon Prime Video.

The big stage will allow Davis to bring the best out of himself. Since he considers himself the face of boxing after having stopped Garcia, Tank must back up those words. There is no better way than to beat Martin, who is currently undefeated. Martin knows he is in for a tough test come fight night.
