Fan Shrugs Off Alex Pereira’s Brutal Body Shots, Leaves UFC Star Stunned!
Alex Pereira failed to knock out a fan after he requested body shots, which he took as though they were nothing.
Pereira is the UFC Light Heavyweight Champion, who has incredible knockout power. He has stopped his last three opponents. He has knockout wins against Jamahal Hill (UFC 300), Jiri Prochazka (UFC 303) and Khalil Rountree Jr. (UFC 307). He also holds the world record for the single hardest punch. As per the PowerKube machine, Pereira’s single punch recorded 191,796 units. This shattered the record held by Francis Ngannou, who scored 129,161 units.
Given that Ngannou had dropped Tyson Fury with his single left hook in their boxing fight, the following fan showed a lot heart. The clip shows Pereira giving the fan six huge punches to the body. The Brazilian is not holding back, but the fan eats them up like it was nothing.
Pereira’s Shots
This is in contrast to the following clip where Alex dropped a Brazilian YouTuber. Pereira can be seen dressed up as a white bunny to give the impression that he is harmless. But after landing with some body shots, the YouTuber winced in pain.
Pereira is known for being a mentally tough fighter. He broke his toe two weeks before his fight with Jamahal Hill at UFC 300. He had every reason to withdraw, by simply stating that he was not ready. However, given that it was a historic event at UFC 300, he proceeded with the fight. He ultimately knocked out Hill in the first round to cap off a memorable UFC 300 event. Alex also showed his toughness when he took on Jiri in their rematch at UFC 303 on short notice.
Pereira’s Mindset
This was after Conor McGregor vs. Michael Chandler was called off. The Notorious withdrew from the fight after suffering from a broken toe. That contrast showed how tough Pereira was since he went ahead with his fight. Alex knocked Jiri out to solidify his status as one of the best P4P fighters. But not everyone has been positive towards Pereira. His biggest rival in the division is Magomed Ankalaev. The Russian is undefeated in his last 13 fights, with 11 wins, a draw, and a no-contest. He has accused Pereira of ducking him.
“AlexPereiraUFC biggest chicken in the Ufc he call out guys middleweight he 40 pound more than them I am the only guy he doesn’t even mention my name I promise I’m gonna handle my business in October and I’m gonna knock you out under 2 round,” Ankalaev said
However, Ankalaev recently confirmed that Dan White said he would fight Alex next. And with Jon Jones vs. Tom Aspinall being targeted at heavyweight, Alex’s chances of moving up are unlikely. That leaves the door open for an Ankalaev fight. Alex’s body shots may be key to winning that fight.
