Jake Paul Mocks Conor McGregor
Jake Paul mocked Conor McGregor’s appearance on a live stream with the brand Duelbits as the Irishman waits for his next fight.
McGregor has not had a UFC fight since losing to Dustin Poirier in 2021 at UFC 264. That was the third defeat out of his last four UFC fights. He also suffered a broken leg, as question marks remain over whether McGregor will be able to come back to his best. He was scheduled to fight Michael Chandler on June 29 at UFC 303. But The Notorious had to pull out with a broken toe. Dana White has already said that McGregor will fight early next year. But there are questions over his next opponent.
Chandler has moved on, as he will rematch Charles Oliveira at UFC 309. Depending on the outcome of that result, Chandler may not take the McGregor bout. A win takes him closer to a title shot against UFC Lightweight Champion Islam Makhachev.
At the same time, a defeat could reduce the demand to see the McGregor bout. During his time out of the octagon, McGregor has caused controversy with his behavior. He has regularly been pictured drinking his Forged Irish Stout Brand, having cigars, and engaging in outspoken behavior.

The following footage shows McGregor being asked about Jake Paul’s fight with Mike Tyson. He doubted the credibility of the fight, stating that he could not believe it was being held at the Dallas Cowboys Stadium. Paul then took some time out to mock McGregor’s antics by mimicking his behavior on the live stream.

This is going to benefit Paul for the following reasons. It gives him additional publicity for the upcoming Tyson fight, which takes place on November 15. It is the first time that Netflix will broadcast a boxing fight, exposing him to a larger audience. It also increases potential calls for Paul to fight McGregor. Paul has previously called out McGregor, stating that a $50 million offer for the fight ultimately never happened.
However, McGregor has two fights left on his UFC deal. He has spoken about his desire to fight in BKFC. A BKFC fight could be a good alternative to face Paul, allowing both men to earn a big payday. Paul has consistently stated that McGregor is no longer the same fighter, and he has backed himself to beat him. McGregor has not given a response to Paul’s antics. The fact that McGregor is looking for his next fight, any further activity on social media will only boost the calls for that.
