Ciryl Gane’s Apartment Targeted By Burglars
UFC fighter Ciryl Gane was reportedly robbed during the course of his bout with Serghei Spivac.
Gane bounced back from his loss to Jon Jones in style. In that fight, he suffered a first-round-submission loss. But this time around, he stopped Spivac in the second round.
And at a time where his win was done in front of his home fans in France, Gane could have been forgiven for feeling on top of the world.
But according to the French newspaper Le Parisian, Gane’s apartment in France had been burgled during the course of his fight.

“It is possible that the thugs have made scouts or that a person in the athlete’s entourage has informed them about his schedule,” Le Parisian
It is alleged that the intruders had forced entry into the house after which the authorities were called to the home at 7:30 am. And allegedly some of the items that were stolen included a Rolex. The total sum of the robbery in question was claimed to have been $161,951.
Despite the obvious turmoil that had happened, it is important to bear in mind the following points. Gane was absent during the robbery, as who knows what could have happened had the MMA star been present.
In addition to this, Ciryl’s impressive win over Spivac must not be forgotten, as he made it clear that he was keen on doing big things. His following comments confirmed as much.
Gane On His Win
“Today it was my mission to prove I’m still here. You know what, it was tough the last one. But this time I was so glad to be back here in front of all of you. This is where I belong. I’m really pleased. My mission, whoever it is, is to go forward. I failed in getting the belt, so my mission is to get the belt and that’s what I’m going to do going forward,” Gane
