Chisora Says Hearn And AJ Could Sue Whyte After His Failed Test

Derek Chisora has recalled what he told Dillian Whyte following his failed test.
Following VADA’s discovery of an ‘adverse finding,’ Whyte’s fight with Anthony Joshua was called off.
Instead, Robert Helenius was called in as a replacement. Although that may have been the case, Whyte maintained that he was innocent.
Such a defense will be hard to convince the public of, given that this is Whyte’s third failed test.
In 2012, the boxer was banned for two years for a positive result. Although he failed another in 2019, Whyte was cleared.
But this time around, it appears that the grounds are much worse. So much so that Chisora felt that Matchroom and Joshua could sue him.

“I told him he’s f—–. I called and [told him] you’re f—–. I’m like, put it this way, if all the test results come out – Eddie should be suing and AJ should be suing for loss of earnings,” Chisora
Chisora’s comments suggest a man who is in the know. After all, David Haye claimed that Chisora had phoned and informed him prior to the news breaking that Whyte had failed a test.
Although Chisora failed to clarify if that was true, the findings of Whyte’s test have not been disclosed.
This is understandably due to confidentiality, however, it does raise concerns that the substances could be very serious.
And if that were the case, then Whyte’s future in the sport of boxing is most likely over. At the age of 35, a significant ban would most likely end his career.
Regardless of what the case may be, Hearn has ruled out working with Whyte in the future for a Joshua rematch.
“Yeah, I think so [the rematch has gone]. I don’t know what Dillian is gonna do or how he’s gonna go about this situation – but it’s a huge, huge fight on his hands.
“You can imagine that Dillian Whyte has to go through a similar process with a different set of results and analysis that we’ve seen. And at that age [of 35], you know, is that a process that [Whyte] can come through the other side of,” Hearn
