Sean Strickland Bashes Up A NAVY Seal - 'CTE Speedrun'

Sean Strickland took on a NAVY Seal during a fierce sparring session.

Strickland has made a habit of sparring various people. He has been in the octagon with influencer Sneako and influencer Adin Ross. That has often earned him a bad reputation, with Jake Paul calling Strickland a ‘bully’ for punishing Sneako. Strickland defeated Paulo Costa at UFC 301, the perfect response following his loss to Dricus Du Plessis at UFC 297. He had beaten Israel Adesanya to get the belt but lost to Du Plessis in a split decision.

While Strickland hopes to get the Du Plessis rematch, who faces Israel Adesanya at UFC 305 on August 17, he has been keeping himself busy in sparring. The following footage shows Strickland sparring with ex-NAVY Seal Mitch Aguiar. Aguiar is 2-1 in MMA. The clip shows Strickland dominating the Navy Seal as Strickland launches flurries. Strickland has previously called out NAVY Seals, stating they could not handle UFC fighter training, naming David Goggins specifically.

Strickland’s Sparring

“I don’t think there’s one Navy Seal who could survive a week training with me, I’m kind of sick of seeing it, cause you guys think you’re bad—, come train with me for a week, I’ll show you what’s up, I’ll…break you.

“I made a navy seal upset, he said “we protect your freedom. I’m very pro military but anti government. But to say “I protect your freedom. Yall need a history lesson on the federal government. Google Snowden and the constitution. The sand people aren’t taking away my freedoms,” Strickland added

Strickland went on to call out David Goggins for a sparring match. Goggins responded by requesting a street fight with no rules, but so far, nothing has materialized. Outside of that, Strickland must focus on his UFC career. The American has said that he will not face Robert Whittaker next. Strickland doubled down on his position as the number-one ranked contender.

Strickland’s Future

Strickland beat Adesanya, while the loss to Du Plessis was controversial. Even Dana White felt Strickland had done enough to win. Whittaker has lost both to Adesanya and Du Plessis. While he secured a first-round knockout win against Ikram Aliskerov at UFC Saudi Arabia, Strickland has no desire to face him next. He is focused on getting his title shot next.

“It ain’t happening. I’ll say no, Whittaker he don’t deserve it, I’m next in line I defended my title shot, I’m the number one contender, it ain’t happening. He lost to both [Du Plessis and Adesanya] pretty unanimously. I beat Izzy, I beat Dricus and got…[robbed] in Canada, it ain’t happening. Ain’t…happening, yeah I’m waiting,” Strickland stated

“I know the UFC doesn’t like people who wait and just chill on the sidelines. What that means, I don’t know. But they don’t look favorably upon them. If I’m going to be honest, I don’t care what Sean Strickland does. He can do whatever he wants,” Whittaker revealed
