Ryan Garcia Attacks The LGBTQ+ Community – ‘It’s A Cult’

Ryan Garcia has caused a stir on social media after telling the LGBTQ community to rot in hell.
Garcia is currently serving a one-year ban from boxing after testing positive for Ostarine. The news meant his win over Devin Haney became a no-contest. The WBC also banned Ryan for his controversial comments on social media. He made a series of derogatory posts, which included racial slurs against African Americans and posts against Muslims and Christians too.
Garcia’s Social Media
“It’s okay; just don’t try to work with me ever again, even after I get clean and sober. So WBC, so many other people have said racist remarks, and you never expelled. I’m expelled for life. The problem is Devin [Haney] has said racist things, and so has Tim Bradley and NADA. You do nothing,” Garcia revealed
While the boxer has said he will go to rehab after apologizing, Garcia has continued using social media. The boxer appeared to be reacting to the 2024 Paris Olympic Games, which featured a transgender singer. Garcia is vocal about his Christian faith, as he was unhappy with the ceremony’s set-up.
While Garcia plans on boxing starting in April 2025, the time when his ban ends, it is vital that he keeps himself in a good place outside of the ring.
He has shown possible suggestions of substance abuse after his ex-wife, Andrea Celina, alleged he had broken into her house after she refused him access to his kids. This was on the grounds he had allegedly been using substances. Garcia was also arrested for vandalizing property at the Waldorf Astoria hotel in Beverly Hills, amounting to $15,000.
Garcia’s Future
His social media presence has helped him become one of the most-talked-about boxers. This showed as he sold over 1.2 million PPVs for the Gervonta Davis fight. Meanwhile, the Haney fight did over 500,000 buys. But Garcia risks alienating his fans more if he backtracks on statements made on social media. This is particularly true after he issued a public apology for his recent behavior.
“I woke up the next morning regretting everything I did and said about Andrea. I came on here just to say I’m sorry. Andrea, you’re the mother of my children and somebody I’ll always love and respect for. You grew up [with] me. You’ve seen me at my best, and now you’ve seen me at my worst. Andrea and everybody knows I’ve got a lot of stuff going on right now, but I’ve decided to get some help.
“I retract all my statements about her. She never stole money from me and never did wrong to me. She never cheated on me. We weren’t together, so she’s not a cheater right there. She’s a great woman.“Saying that, I finally decided to get some help. I’m going to rehab, and you will see a change in the next couple of months. I’ve got to handle some things, but after that, I’m going to check myself into rehab and get better,” Garcia said
