Iranian fighter Parham Gheirati may wonder why he hasn’t earned a $100,000 contract and a spot on ONE’s global roster already. Whenever the promotion has booked Gheirati for a fight, he has delivered an entertaining affair. During Gheirati’s first four performances, he picked up three knockout victories and won the other by a split decision.

This Friday at Lumpinee Boxing Stadium, Gheirati will be in a position for another important victory. He will be paired up with former Road to ONE Thailand champion Yodphupa Petkiatpet in a bantamweight Muay Thai fight. While Yodphupa impressed people who follow online boxing news by winning the Road to ONE event, he hasn’t been consistent.

Yodphupa has lost three of his eight fights in ONE. Before Yodphupa beat Soner Sen by majority decision in May, he was on a three-fight losing streak. But past struggles won’t be something Yodphupa will have to be worried about this weekend.

Yodphupa will need to be in his best form to slow down Gheirati’s progress. With Gheirati’s fighting style, people can count on this fight to produce memorable moments. This fight card will feature a strong mix of MMA and Muay Thai action. Fans of ONE should be excited for what this fight card should bring to their screens.

Little Guys Hope to Put on Big Show

Chatpichit Sor Sor Toipadriew has been described as having an electric, fan-pleasing style. What Chatpichit demonstrated so far is that he knows how to fight at a quick pace. Now, Chatpichit will attempt to prove that he can finish a fight.

Chatpichit will be paired up with another Thai fighter in a 112-pound Muay Thai battle with Khunsuk Sor Dechapan. People looking at MMAfighting latest news will see Chapitchit has won two of his past three ONE fights but has yet to produce a knockout.

Khunsuk has had no issues with flashing his immense power. The 20-year-old fighter has produced four knockouts during his time in the promotion. Khunsuk is coming off a loss last time out against Tuhtimthong Sor Jor Lekmuangnon.

Bouncing back from a defeat, even in a close decision, can be a challenge for fighters. The key is to find a way to increase their confidence so they can continue to improve.

Khomutov Hopes to Deliver High-Octane Performance

Kirill Khomutov took some time to himself after suffering his first loss in One last November. The Russian knockout artist deserved a break after a busy 2023 schedule. Khomutov fought three times between July and November last year, producing a pair of knockout victories.

Now refreshed, Khomutov will have to try and find a way to beat Ferzan Cicek in a bantamweight Muay Thai battle. Cicek also hasn’t had as busy of a schedule this year as he did in 2023. Cicek has won two straight fights, including one back in March.

Cicek will also be making his second trip to the ring after fighting four times last year. Expect both men to have extra energy for a wild, striking affair.

Moises Hopes to Showcase More of His Variety

Moises Ilogon doesn’t have much experience under his belt as a professional MMA fighter. But Moises showed during his ONE debut that he needs to be taken seriously. Before Moises arrived in this promotion, he had been known as a ground specialist.

Both of his first two professional wins came by submission. However, during Moises’ ONE debut, he ended up scoring a knockout in the third round thanks to a strong body kick followed up with punches. Moises’ opponent this weekend, Seung Chul Lee, has more than two times the professional fights than Mosies. Seung has compiled a 6-1 record so far in his career and has produced all seven of his wins by stoppage.

Denkriangkrai Seeks to Pull Out of Spiral

There’s nothing worse than being stuck in a rut at work. But the latest boxing news online shows that it is especially difficult in combat sports. Denkriangkrai doesn’t want to hurt his reputation while absorbing a lot of stiff punches from his opponents.

Denkirangkrai has lost his last three trips to the ring in ONE. All three of those defeats came via decision. His opponent for this weekend, Patakake Sinbimuaythai doesn’t have close to his level of experience. Denkirangkrai will hope to lean on that experience to outbox his foe.

Patakake is coming off a knockout victory in may. However, Patakake’s results in ONE have been mixed and he has split a pair of fights so far in his career.

Eskiev Ready for Another Tough Fight

Dzhokhar Eskiev is ready to test his MMA skills on a bigger stage. So far, Eskiev has been moving from smaller promotion to smaller promotion, seeking opportunities to fine-tune his skills. Eskiev has found great results at the lower levels, compiling a 10-3 record.

Eskiev has won three fights by submission and has one knockout on his record. However, Eskiev has mostly fought as a points fighter. Eight of the fights in his career have gone the distance.

Now, Ilimbek Akylbek Uulu will test Eskiev’s resolve. During Ilimbek’s career, he has developed into a master on the mats. He has four submission victories during his short career. One thing that Ilimbek has shown is that his work on the feet may need to improve. During his ONE debut, Ilimbek was knocked out in the second round by Khalim Nazruloev.

Here are the rest of the fights on the card not mentioned above:

  • Muay Thai (strawweight), Kaoklai Chor Hapayak vs. Singtanawat Nokjeanladkrabang
  • Muay Thai (136-pound catchweight), Donking Yotharakmuaythai vs. Panpet Sor Naruemon
  • Muay Thai (112-pound catchweight), Nuengthoranee Guaybangkorlaem vs. Sainatee PK Saenchai

  • Muay Thai (122-pound catchweight), Singsangpa Lookboonmee vs. Hiroyuki
  • Muay Thai (126-pound catchweight), Saenchai Nayokwittungsong vs. Banna Hayashi
