O’Malley Calls Out Mayweather – ‘I’ll Put Him Out’
UFC Bantamweight Champion Sean O’Malley says he would love to box Floyd Mayweather.
O’Malley first teased the idea of entering boxing when he defeated Aljamain Sterling at UFC 292 to become the UFC Bantamweight Champion. In his post-fight presser, O’Malley called out boxer Gervonta Davis. Davis’ camp warned O’Malley that he would get knocked out. Soon after, Ryan Garcia warned Suga against taking the fight.
They then fired several verbal shots at each other, with Garcia saying he was ready to beat O’Malley in boxing and MMA. Now, it appears that Sean has an eye on Mayweather. Floyd is coming off an exhibition against John Gotti III, where he dominated in the rematch. Mayweather revealed that he had a three-fight exhibition on offer without confirming any names. Sean wants to be at the front of the queue if the opportunity arises.
O’Malley On Mayweather
“The first couple of highlights I watched from like, Round 1 and 3, Floyd was piecing him up, looking good…Like pull 2’s, like it was….pretty sick. Me vs Floyd? I would love that. That would be crazy. Just get him right at the end,…put him out, put him in. Exhibition? One hundred percent,” O’Malley said
Before Mayweather considers fighting again, he must deal with the following lawsuit. A jeweller, Leonard Sulaymanov, from Miami, has taken legal action, stating that Mayweather owes approximately $4 million. Rapper Tyga is another person named in the suit for not paying for a Rolex.
The lawsuit states that Mayweather bought some watches and diamonds in 2021. The exact sum being pursued is $3,883,657.00. Lenzo & Co, Sulaymanov’s company, met Mayweather, after which Mayweather made a deposit of over $250,000 with the intention of making further payments. The further payments never came, which has now resulted in legal action.
Mayweather’s Legal Issues
“This action arises out of a pattern of predatory, unfair, improper, fraudulent, and unscrupulous practices through which defendants used the plaintiff’s reputation, business, and inventory to systemically steal and convert the plaintiff’s watches and jewelry to their own without paying the full and fair price,” The Times said
“Mayweather was wearing the diamond necklace and diamond ring while riding in his TMT van and departing from Miami. More recently, Mayweather posted a photograph of him wearing the necklace with his agent,” Sulaymanov’s legal team
Nevertheless, Mayweather’s latest exhibition will likely be enough to pay off any outstanding debt. The boxer has denied suggestions that he continues to box for the money. Mayweather has amassed an extensive business empire following his boxing career, with reports that he is a billionaire. He has earned huge amounts of money through his exhibitions, with suggestions that the Logan Paul fight got him $100 million. Given the amount of money earned for not facing a professional boxer, Mayweather will have plenty to satisfy any debts.
“Money, cars, and other belongings are valued and respected by those who work hard to earn them. People who are gifted, given, and handed those materialistic objects hold no value or sense of pride in owning them. Money and materials earned are far more valuable than anything that you are handed. Work hard, be patient, and remember. You only deserve what you work for,” Mayweather
