Chimaev Beats Woodley In 94 Seconds
Khamzat Chimaev needed just 94 seconds to pin Tyron Woodley in the RAF Moscow main event Saturday, closing out a 13-match freestyle wrestling card at Arena Mytishchi. Chimaev put Woodley on his back at the 1:34 mark and controlled him from there.
Speaking to Chael Sonnen afterward, Chimaev confirmed his next RAF outing will be a rematch with Gilbert Burns at RAF 13 on September 18.
In the co-main event, Abdulrashid Sadulaev held off Zac Braunagel 8-6 at heavyweight/" class="internal-link text-bone underline decoration-ash/30 hover:decoration-gold underline-offset-2">light heavyweight. All three RAF titles stayed with the champions: Kyle Snyder beat Akhmed Tazhudinov 11-5, Kyle Dake survived a 7-6 decision over Magomedkhabib Kadimagomedov, and Kennedy Blades shut out Vusala Parfianovich 10-0 by technical fall.
Jordan Burroughs matched that with a 10-0 technical fall over Magomed Kurbanaliev and called out Islam Makhachev afterward. Elsewhere on the card, Pouya Rahmani beat Anatoly Malykhin 10-3, Shara Magomedov defeated Neiman Gracie 11-3, and Bo Nickal edged Shirvani Muradov 11-8.
