Anthony Wint wants a piece of the heavyweight who starched Gable Steveson.
Wint kept his record clean with a 23-second technical knockout of Lucas Armand at UFC 332 on Oct. 3 in Salt Lake City, per Sherdog. The former New York Jets linebacker told Joe Rogan in his post-fight interview that he wants Sean Sharaf next, according to MMA Fighting — the same Sharaf who flattened Olympic gold medalist Steveson in 12 seconds at UFC 331 last month.

Wint Targets Madison Square Garden For Sharaf Clash
The unbeaten heavyweight pitched UFC 334 in New York City as the ideal venue. Wint acknowledged at the post-fight press conference that the November card at Madison Square Garden might already be locked, but he still wants the fight in the Big Apple. He told reporters there is no bad blood between him and Sharaf, revealing that Sharaf previously gave him a ride from the UFC Performance Institute to his hotel. "There's no beef between me and Sean, so I hope people don't build it up as that," Wint said.
Wint sees the commercial upside in Sharaf's sudden spike in popularity. Sharaf's fan base exploded after the Steveson upset, and Wint wants to tap into that energy. "He has a big fan base now; they're going to be like, 'No, Sean, go out there and knock this dude out again,' and I think that makes for a great fight," he said. "At the end of the day, we're in the business of sport, but we're in the business of show. It's a market at the end of the day and I think that's a huge fight to make."
