UFC CEO Dana White believes retired boxing champion Terence Crawford would return to the ring under the right circumstances.

White, whose Zuffa Boxing promotion has pursued high-profile matchups across combat sports, told the Night Cap podcast that Crawford remains open to fighting despite announcing his retirement last December. "If I went to Crawford with the right fight, Crawford would fight," White said, per Sherdog.

Crawford Calls Out Ennis On Social Media

Crawford, who retired at 42-0 after beating Canelo Alvarez to become undisputed champion across three weight divisions, recently tested the waters on X by targeting undefeated welterweight Jaron Ennis. The 38-year-old wrote: "I wanna see something! Yall wanna see me come back and fight so bad don't yall? @JaronEnnis would you fight me next if I come outta retirement?"

Ennis, who holds a 36-0 record, responded with a single word and a link: "1000%!"

White's comments suggest Zuffa Boxing could facilitate the bout if Crawford commits to ending his eight-month retirement. No timeline or venue has been discussed publicly, but the social media exchange marks Crawford's first concrete callout since stepping away from the sport.
