Wanchainoi Returns From Music Career To Headline Inner Circle 26

A fighter who walked away from Muay Thai to record an album headlines The Inner Circle 26 this Friday at Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok.

Wanchainoi Pongsuphan PK meets Petnamkhong Sor Maneekhot in the strawweight main event, per BJPenn.com. The 25-year-old left the sport during the pandemic to pursue music, released a full album, built a social media following through cover videos, completed military service, and then returned to competition full time. His comeback run includes three consecutive victories at Lumpinee, capped by a first-round knockout of Dokmaipa Santiubon at ONE Friday Fights 160 that ended his opponent's four-fight streak and earned Wanchainoi a bonus.

Gingsanglek Faces Promotional Newcomer In Co-Main Event

Petnamkhong, 22, carries his own three-fight winning streak into Friday's headliner. His second-round TKO of Tonglampoon FA Group at ONE Friday Fights 149 signaled his arrival as a threat in the division.

The co-main event features PK Saenchai Muaythaigym technician Gingsanglek Wor Kumchamnarn, a 45-13 veteran known for his left body kick, against unbeaten ONE newcomer Dmitri Ramos in a bantamweight clash.
