UFC heavyweight Valter Walker has torn into rising contender Josh Hokit over a social media post threatening violence against Ian Machado Garry's young son.
Hokit, who stopped Derrick Lewis at UFC Freedom 250 and remains unbeaten at heavyweight, responded to a viral clip of Garry's son crying after missing a chance to meet Islam Makhachev at a recent faceoff. "Try to play that game and have your kid shake my hand," Hokit wrote, per BJ Penn. "I'd punt that f------ kid." The post drew immediate backlash from fans and fighters alike.

Walker Calls Out Hokit's 'Two Personalities'
Walker, who submitted Thomas Petersen at UFC Abu Dhabi last month, fired back in a recent tweet. "Any jackass with two personalities, just so he can hide behind one of them, is a complete idiot," Walker said of Hokit, according to the report. "Just shut up."
Hokit has not responded to Walker's criticism. The former Dana White's Contender Series standout previously angered UFC CEO Dana White during his UFC Freedom 250 post-fight interview with Joe Rogan by calling former First Lady Michelle Obama a biological male.

Hokit is closing in on a potential heavyweight title shot but continues to draw controversy outside the Octagon. Walker and Hokit could cross paths as both climb the division rankings.
