Alexander Volkanovski isn't worried about his age as he approaches UFC 333.
The featherweight champion, who turns 39 later this year, told ESPN he plans to deliver one of the strongest showings of his career despite being well into his late 30s. Volkanovski pushed back on any suggestion that retirement is imminent or that competing at 38 presents a physical barrier he can't overcome.

Volkanovski's Career Longevity At Featherweight
The Australian has held the 145-pound title since December 2019 and has successfully defended it multiple times against top contenders. His gas tank and fight IQ have been consistent strengths throughout his championship reign, with no clear signs of decline in his recent performances.
Volkanovski's comments come as several fighters in their late 30s continue competing at the highest level across multiple divisions. Whether he can maintain championship form into his 40s remains to be seen, but for now he's dismissing any timeline on when he'll hang up the gloves.
