Kevin Vallejos has come to the defense of Ailin Perez following her disputed decision victory over Norma Dumont at UFC Vegas 121.
The bantamweight bout featured heavy clinch work and scattered striking before Perez took a unanimous decision that left Dumont stunned at the scorecards, Sherdog reports. When Uruguayan fighter Gaston Reyno backed Perez's win on social media, Vallejos weighed in with his own scoring.

Vallejos Calls For Perez Title Shot After UFC Vegas 121
"I agree, I saw the fight 29-28 for Ailin," Vallejos posted on X, per Sherdog. "Impossible that it was a robbery. It was close in the 3rd round but I felt like Ailin made a bit more of a difference. She deserves to fight for the title."
All three judges scored the contest 29-28 for Perez, matching the UFC featherweight's own card. The Argentine is now on a seven-fight winning streak, the second-longest active run in UFC women's bantamweight history.

Dumont has since criticized the verdict on social media and dropped her second straight fight. Perez improved to 14-2 overall.
