UFC White House Custom Belt
Donald Trump has revealed a custom championship belt that will be awarded exclusively to winners competing at UFC Freedom 250 on June 14 on the South Lawn of the White House.
The reveal took place on May 6 in the Oval Office, where Trump hosted all four headliners — Ilia Topuria, Justin Gaethje, Alex Pereira, and Ciryl Gane. The belt centres on a gold plate carrying the UFC logo, set against an American flag in red, white, and blue on a gold and silver background. Red leather straps run down both sides. At the base of the centre plate, the Roman numerals "MDCCLXXVI" mark 1776 — the year of American independence — and the number 250 references the 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence.
Topuria defends the undisputed lightweight title against Gaethje in the main event, while Pereira steps up to heavyweight to face Gane for the interim belt in the co-main. The custom belt adds a layer of occasion to both bouts — a physical object that only two fighters will ever hold, tied directly to a night that Trump has already declared unlike anything the White House has hosted before.
