UFC Vegas 120 Adds Rosas Jr.'s Brother On 10 Days' Notice

UFC Vegas 120 just got two late additions, including a bantamweight scrap featuring the older brother of rising prospect Raul Rosas Jr.

Miles Johns will face Jessie Rosas on 10 days' notice at the August 8 card in Las Vegas, Heavy.com first reported. Johns enters the bout on a three-fight losing streak and could be fighting for his UFC future. The 31-year-old veteran dropped his last outing to Daniel Marcos via second-round submission and has lost competitive decisions to Jean Matsumoto and Felipe Lima before that.

Rosas Brings Three-Fight Win Streak To UFC Debut

Jessie Rosas, one of three fighting Rosas brothers, arrives in the Octagon riding a three-fight win streak with six career finishes across four submissions and two knockouts. His sole career defeat came in an upset loss to regional fighter Keenan Lewis. The matchup gives Johns a chance to right the ship against a debutant, while Rosas gets a UFC veteran to measure himself against.

The promotion also added a lightweight bout between Brazilian finisher Manoel Sousa and LFA champion Richie Miranda. Sousa knocked out Bolaji Oki with one punch in his UFC debut in March, earning a Performance of the Night bonus. Miranda defends a seven-fight win streak and has held the LFA lightweight title through three defenses, most recently submitting Robert Varricchio with a bulldog choke.

UFC Vegas 120 is headlined by No. 8 lightweight Mateusz Gamrot against No. 12 Quillan Salkilld. The additions bring the card to 11 bouts after it sat at just eight fights earlier this week.
