UFC Vegas 118 Card Announced
The UFC has officially finalized the lineup for UFC Vegas 118 at the Meta APEX for June 6, as the “lead-in” to the Freedom 250 card at the White House just eight days later.
Former world champion Belal Muhammad fights Gabriel Bonfim in the main event. Since dropping his title to Leon Edwards in 2024, Belal has found himself in unfamiliar territory. His most recent outing in November 2025 saw him fall to Ian Machado Garry via a unanimous decision, marking his first back-to-back losses in nearly a decade.
Bonfim has four straight victories. He enters the main event fresh off a dominant stoppage of veteran Randy Brown at UFC Vegas 111. A win for Muhammad re-establishes his place in the title queue, while a victory for Bonfim would signal a changing of the guard at 170 pounds.

Pre-Fight
“He does the cage game very well. I believe he will try to grab me like [Nicolas] Dalby did, but I will get there very well prepared for this fight. Ian Garry showed the way. The idea is to move around, defend takedowns, use low kicks and connect with my hard hands to knock him out.
“In my view, [Michael] Morales is ahead to get the fight with Islam. But I think Garry has more weapons to beat the champion. And if he is confirmed as the next contender and wins, and I knock out Belal, I think I deserve to fight for the title,” Bonfim said
