UFC Oklahoma City odds: Duncan favored over Cannonier

Christian Leroy Duncan is a heavy favorite to beat Jared Cannonier when the two middleweights meet Saturday at UFC Oklahoma City, with the Englishman opening at -320 against Cannonier's +235, per MMA Mania.

Cannonier, 42, has dropped three of his past four — losses to top contenders and Michael Page — but continues to show the explosive power and conditioning that once carried him to a title shot. Duncan, meanwhile, has rattled off four wins since settling into the Octagon and finding the confidence to unleash his spinning attacks. The matchup pits Cannonier's low-kick, clinch-heavy approach against Duncan's fluid kickboxing, with the 12-year age gap looming as the invisible edge. Two years ago Cannonier likely wins this fight. Now momentum points toward Duncan taking another step up the ladder.

Lightweight rebound spot for Hooper after back-to-back knockouts

Chase Hooper, knocked out in consecutive fights by Alexander Hernandez and Lance Gibson Jr, meets Mitch Ramirez at -390 in a clear bounce-back spot. Both fighters lost their last two, but Ramirez is still hunting his first UFC win and lacks the athleticism that troubled Hooper recently. The lanky grappler should get back on track with a submission if he avoids overextending on the feet. Elsewhere at strawweight, Fatima Kline opens -400 over Tabatha Ricci despite taking a clear jump in competition. Ricci is an undersized but slick judoka; Kline lost her UFC debut to a wrestler but has since improved her scrambles and should take over as the fight unfolds.

The event takes place at Paycom Center with the main event pitting former middleweight champion Dricus du Plessis against longtime welterweight king Kamaru Usman. Kevin Holland's withdrawal against prospect Jacobe Smith last week thinned the card, but the main event remains intact.
