UFC Belgrade poster unveiled for Medic vs. Rodriguez on Aug. 1
UFC released the official poster for its Aug. 1 event in Belgrade, where welterweights Uros Medic and Daniel Rodriguez will headline the Paramount+ card at Belgrade Arena in Serbia.
The poster features the Serbian phrase "Idemo" — translating to "Let's go!" — as Medic looks to extend his knockout streak in front of a home crowd. MMA Mania reports that the matchup was announced earlier this month, with the poster dropping Tuesday.
Medic riding three-fight knockout streak into Belgrade main event
Medic has stopped three straight opponents in the first round, most recently flattening Geoff Neal at UFC Houston earlier this year. That finish earned him a $100,000 bonus and a spot in the welterweight rankings. He enters the Belgrade headliner 13-3 overall.
Rodriguez owns a 20-5 record and also carries a three-fight win streak, though he has not competed since beating Kevin Holland in July 2025. The California native reportedly spent several months in a Mexican jail after crossing the border with marijuana in his vehicle, according to MMA Mania.
The Belgrade card also features a heavyweight bout between former light heavyweight Aleksandar Rakic and Marcin Tybura. Full fight card details are available through UFC's official Paramount+ lineup.
