UFC Belgrade fight card set for Aug. 1 on Paramount Plus

UFC makes its first trip to Serbia on Aug. 1 when welterweights Uros Medic and Daniel Rodriguez headline at Belgrade Arena, according to MMA Mania.

The Paramount Plus prelims begin at noon ET, with the main card following at 3 p.m. ET. Medic, a Serbian native, gets the hometown showcase against Rodriguez in the 170-pound main event.

Tybura vs. Rakic headlines heavyweight co-main

Heavyweight Marcin Tybura meets light heavyweight Aleksandar Rakic in what is listed as a 265-pound bout on the main card. Former light heavyweight title challenger Jan Błachowicz faces Bogdan Guskov at 205 pounds, while Ante Delija takes on Johnny Walker at heavyweight.

The prelims feature four scheduled matchups, including middleweights Dusko Todorovic and Robert Valentin. Lightweights Ludovit Klein and Tofiq Musayev are also slated for the early card, along with welterweights Oban Elliott and Michael Oliveira.

The promotion notes that the fight card, bout order and number of bouts remain subject to change ahead of the August date.
