heavyweight/" class="internal-link text-bone underline decoration-ash/30 hover:decoration-gold underline-offset-2">Light heavyweight Nikita Krylov was the only fighter transported to a hospital following UFC 329 on Saturday night in Las Vegas.

UFC officials told MMA Mania that Krylov went for a precautionary scan of his jaw after Robert Whittaker stopped him with a single punch in their prelims bout. The Ukrainian waved off the contest immediately after the shot landed, unable to continue. "The finish was strange, it was clear Krylov knew something was wrong," MMA Mania reported.

No Broken Jaw for Krylov, White Confirms

UFC CEO Dana White later confirmed the 34-year-old avoided a fracture and was released from the hospital. Krylov has now dropped three of his last four outings, all by stoppage. He knocked out Modestas Bukauskas at UFC 324 before the Whittaker setback.

The promotion routinely sends fighters for hospital evaluation after knockouts or fights where additional medical checks are warranted. In this case, just one competitor needed the trip despite what MMA Mania called a violent night at T-Mobile Arena.

Krylov now sits at 31-12 overall and will likely need a bounce-back win when he returns to the octagon.
