Max Holloway has opened as the betting favorite over Conor McGregor for their UFC 329 rematch, with oddsmakers installing the Hawaiian at -227 despite losing to the Irishman 13 years ago when both were up-and-comers.
McGregor enters as a +192 underdog for the July 11 headliner at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, per Sherdog, likely because of his five-year absence from competition since the trilogy loss to Dustin Poirier in 2021. Holloway is also coming off a defeat, a lopsided decision against Charles Oliveira in his most recent outing.
CBS to air McGregor vs. Holloway weigh-ins live
The bout has drawn enough mainstream interest that CBS will broadcast a one-hour primetime special on July 10 at 9 p.m. ET, Sherdog reports, featuring the weigh-ins live along with an interview between Nate Burleson and McGregor. Dana White will also appear in the special, which will stream afterward on Paramount+.
Elsewhere on the card, Benoit St. Denis opened as a slight favorite at -135 over Paddy Pimblett, who is coming off his first UFC loss. Cory Sandhagen is favored at -140 against Mario Bautista in a bantamweight rematch, while Gable Steveson checks in at -3300 for his promotional debut against Elisha Ellison, one of the steepest lines in UFC history.
The full card streams on Paramount+ on Saturday, July 11.
