Valesca Machado made quick work of Natalia Alves in the quarterfinals of The Ultimate Fighter 34, stopping Michael Bisping's final women's pick in the second round at the Meta Apex in Las Vegas.

Machado, better known as Tina Black and Daniel Cormier's top women's selection, controlled every exchange from the opening bell. Alves, a grappling specialist, tried repeatedly to bring the fight to the mat in Round 1 but Machado stuffed each takedown and punished her on the feet, per MMA Mania.

By the second round Alves ditched the wrestling and tried to stand with Machado. That decision backfired immediately. Machado landed a hard jab that sent Alves retreating across the cage, then poured on knees and punches until the referee stepped in.

Machado, a former Invicta FC champion and Contender Series alum, is now 15-4-1 and has won three straight. The 25-year-old Alves, who entered unbeaten at 8-0 with four submissions under the LFA banner, has been eliminated from the competition.

Episode six of TUF 34, which airs Tuesdays on Paramount Plus, features Illimbek Akylbek Uulu against Sean Mora in the next quarterfinal matchup.
