Aspinall Vs. Gane Ends In A No-Contest After Accidental Eye Poke

Tom Aspinall vs. Ciryl Gane ended in a no-contest after the champion could not continue following an accidental eye poke from Gane, as you can see how the fight played out live. 

Aspinall entered the bout with the weight of expectation, as it was his first title defense. He secured the belt after Jon Jones vacated in June, but was in good form nonetheless, stopping Curtis Blaydes in his last fight. That was his third stoppage in a row.
