PFL San Diego weigh-ins complete: AJ McKee on weight
Former Bellator featherweight champion AJ McKee successfully made weight Friday for his return at PFL San Diego, stepping on the scale at 145.6 pounds ahead of Saturday's main event against Salamat Isbulaev.
McKee will take on the undefeated Kazakhstani prospect, who weighed 145.8 pounds, in what marks the biggest test of Isbulaev's career. The 10-0 fighter is coming off a knockout of Jesus Pinedo in his PFL debut earlier this year and will look to crack the featherweight top tier with an upset over the 31-year-old former champion.
Khamidov heavy at bantamweight
Eight of nine bouts were cleared without issue, but Sarvarjon Khamidov came in at 137.6 pounds for his bantamweight scrap with Justtin Wetzell, missing the 136-pound limit by 1.6 pounds, per Sherdog. Khamidov will forfeit a percentage of his purse and the bout will proceed at a catchweight.
McKee has gone 3-1 inside the PFL since a split decision loss to Paul Hughes in 2024, picking up wins over Akhmed Magomedov and Adam Borics. The co-main features former UFC flyweight queen Liz Carmouche against Viviane Araujo at 126 pounds.
PFL San Diego airs Saturday on ESPN2 and ESPN+, with prelims starting at 8 p.m. ET and the main card at 10 p.m. ET.
