Darren Till and Yoel Romero met face-to-face for a full minute Thursday in Manchester, their second tense staredown before Saturday's BKFC 94 main event at the AO Arena.

The former UFC fighters locked eyes without breaking contact until Till extended his hand at the end, MMA Fighting reports. The interaction echoed their August press conference encounter that lasted nearly four minutes and went viral across combat sports platforms.

Till Explains August Staredown Strategy

Till said the prolonged August faceoff reached a point where neither man would yield. "I don't go off faceoff energy and stuff like that but he broke character first, he was speaking to me and stuff like that and chewing his gum real hard," Till told MMA Fighting.

The Liverpool native said he refused to turn away during the marathon staredown. "I'm going to show you exactly what I'm here to do to you as much as you are to do to me," he said, adding that Romero is "a scary guy" but he enjoyed the exchange.
