Jean Silva believes Movsar Evloev will dethrone Alexander Volkanovski at UFC 333.

The UFC featherweight contender told MMA Fighting ahead of his own Noche UFC main event this weekend that he expects Evloev to hand Volkanovski a loss when they clash for the 145-pound title. Silva then positioned himself as the next challenger regardless of outcome, saying he would face either man.

Silva's Case For Evloev At UFC 333

Silva acknowledged Volkanovski's strengths but suggested the former champion's all-around game lacks a single elite dimension. "He's not 100 percent in everything, but what he does is absurd," Silva said, per MMA Fighting. "He sticks to a strategy, sticks to the game plan."

The Brazilian pointed to Evloev's grappling-heavy approach as the key differentiator, though he noted the Russian's lack of finishing power. Silva added that Volkanovski possesses knockout ability Evloev does not, saying "the first hand that gets in, he's going down."

Silva faces Jose Delgado on Saturday at Noche UFC in Las Vegas. Evloev challenges Volkanovski for the featherweight title at UFC 333 later this year.
