Natalia Silva believes Brazil can claim all three UFC women's championships before 2027 if she defeats Wang Cong this Saturday and Amanda Nunes captures bantamweight gold next month.

Silva faces Wang for the vacant flyweight title in Salt Lake City after Valentina Shevchenko relinquished the belt to recover from injury. Nunes challenges champion Kayla Harrison at UFC 334 in New York on Nov. 14. With Mackenzie Dern already holding a title, a Brazilian sweep is within reach.

"Three Brazilian champions at the same time would be a milestone in history," Silva told MMA Fighting. "It would be a milestone, a historic moment for women's and Brazilian MMA." The flyweight contender spent a month training in Mexico to adjust to the altitude ahead of Saturday's bout.

Silva has beaten three former champions in a row to reach 8-0 in the UFC, most recently taking decisions against Jessica Andrade, Alexa Grasso and Rose Namajunas. Wang earned her title shot with a fourth straight win in the promotion, a decision against Tracy Cortez.

The Brazilian dismissed any notion that beating Wang instead of Shevchenko would diminish the achievement. "If I win the title, I'm the undisputed champion," Silva said, per MMA Fighting. "Regardless of whether it was against her or against someone else." She added that Wang is just as dangerous as the injured champion and that she prepared for the toughest fight of her career no matter the opponent.

Silva and Wang weigh in Friday in Salt Lake City ahead of Saturday's main event.
